Somerset West is a historic town in the Western Cape. Originally the town developed around the Lourens River in 1672 by Dutch soldiers who established a cattle post. Somerset West comprises of more than 65 suburbs, and lies between the Heldeberg Mountains, the Cape Winelands, and False Bay, offering its residents the best of stunning mountain and ocean views!
