Having children yourself, it would be great to know whether the neighbourhood is kid-friendly - are there safe play parks nearby for potential play dates?
Maybe the average age of the residents is in line with your parents' age (or the age of your university student), in which case there might be a slight mismatch!
Rapport with neighbours are critical, especially when it comes to respecting each other's pets, gardens and noise levels...so ask the agent as much as you can during the showing!
