Did you know? Staged homes sell for 8-10% more, and 50% faster than un-staged homes!
So what does home staging entail?
Home Staging is a mix and process of:
- Decluttering
- Depersonalising
- Repairing
- Cleaning
- Decorating
Does home staging cost a lot of money?
Staging your home will always cost less than that first price reduction your home undergoes, because it wasn't staged before. Sometimes mere decluttering, slight reorganising of furniture, or even a lick of paint, is all you need to spruce up your home and get it market ready.
Louw & Coetzee Properties' Accredited International Home Stager, Pieter de Swardt, offers a free 45-minute consultation, outlining the level of staging required for your home, and provides you with an Action Plan for you to take a look at, ask questions, and accept, or not.
When should I stage my home?
- Before you call an estate agent for a valuation.
- After a valuation, but before you put your house on the market. This is to either get a better valuation, or to make your house more marketable.
- When your house is already on the market and it doesn't sell, therefore needing some change to make it more sellable.
I want you to give me advice on home staging, but I don't want to sell...
No problem - You can either just enjoy your "newly staged" home, or phone the agent of your choice when you are ready for them to do a market-related valuation.
So, if I get in touch, what can I expect?
- A free 45-minute consultation detailing what needs to be changed, how it can be changed, and a Plan of Action to guide you, which you can accept or file for later.
- A free market-related valuation, pre-home staging
- A free market-related valuation, post-home staging
